No matter what you do every day make sure to take some time (no matter how much time, even 30 seconds) and do something that fills you with joy and makes you happy. You will most likely live a healthier life because of it, here are five reasons why:
1. You will have more energy.
The serotonin your brain releases when you are doing something that makes you happy can help increase your energy levels.
2. Your confidence will improve.
When you do something you love, you will constantly gain confidence by putting yourself in a self-loving happy state.
3. You will enjoy life more.
When you are not happy with your work, your unhappiness and frustration will spill over into all areas of your life. Doing something you love once a day will make the rest of your day/night more enjoyable.
4. You will want to continue learning and growing.
As you do something you love, your brain will continue to strive to do more and more of it. This leads to an increased desire to learn and grow in that area and eventually many other areas.
5. Your motivation will soar.
Having something to look forward to, can help drive your motivation and make you work harder to get to the act of joy you implement daily!
Life is short and meant to be enjoyed, in 2017 take a couple moments a day to do something you love. I love meditating and spend 10 minutes in the morning no matter what to get my day started on the right path. No matter what it is just do it!
